README for libusb 0.1.x

REQUIREMENTS
1. Kernel support for USB device filesystem
2. Mount the usbfs. This can be done with an entry in /etc/fstab: 
   none /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0

PRE-INSTALL

POST-INSTALL
1. To give other users than root access to the usb devices, either
   install hotplug or create a executable file /sbin/hotplug with
   the following content:
   
   #!/bin/sh
   if [ "$ACTION" = "add" ]; then
      sleep 1
      chown root:users "$DEVICE"
      chmod 0660 "$DEVICE"
   fi
