libwv2      (needed for anything resembling decent .doc support)
libwpd      (needed to import Wordperfect documents)
wordnet     (run-time dependency of kthesaurus.  It is very, very useful imho)
imagemagick (adds proper image support)

Optional dependencies:

tetex       (needed for writing of TeX documents)
             note: as of koffice-1.3.3, reading TeX documents is not supported
