Configuration changes: ---------------------- - instead of the client library that comes with mysql, libmysql, the native driver provided by PHP, called mysqlnd, is used for all mysql PHP extensions, see [1] - added the extended version of the mysql driver, called mysqli, to the port, see [2] Note: ----- mysqlnd cannot use old-style 16bit passwords [3], you must convert them to use the new hash method introduced with mysql 4.1.1. A short guild how to do this can be found at [4].
